Oh no, not another pretend off-roader... Afraid so. This time Skoda has given its Roomster mini-MPV the 4x4 look - but with none of the hardware to back up the off-roading image.
Italians are nothing if not imbued with salaciousness. At the Los Angeles Auto Show last week, Fiat leapt upon this fact with a seemingly undiscovered gusto, like a high-school kid who just had his first beer and is—as we speak—rushing to his friends to tell them all about it. The Gleagle GC7 from Geely is an evolution of a former model but is the first product launched under the new Gleagle brand name since it was announced in 2010. The GC7's upward-curved headlamps run out of the corners of the large center grille, while the side of the car has a strong feature line that runs down the whole body, serving to visually extend the car in side profile. The rear is again wholy conventional but appears neatly resolved.
